We're going to watch this movie (Hachiko) on Wednesday. I had it on our Netflix queue, all the way at the bottom. However, we watched Ice Castles this weekend, and saw the trailer for Hachiko, and decided to bump it up to the top.
Hachiko is based on a true story from Japan. I already knew the gist of the story since I had visited the Hachiko statue in Shibuya. Basically, it's about a loyal dog who still waited for his master even after the master passed away.
Yes, we cried when we watched the trailer.
